Wew this week has been crazy, havnt had much time to logon here. Busy building a ecommerce site in ruby on rails after work, so that has been eating up all my free time. Regardless, it seems i lost a few more, so thats a good thing!

It is challenging in the beginning but if you can remain steady, you will get sure results. I thought that website you listed was a fun read. I like Chipotle on occassion and I just split a burrito with a friend. I don't starve myself at all or else I would hate life. I just try to aim for 'Never too hungry, never too full' and that helps a lot...I am a firm believer in snacks! My favs: raw almonds and celery.

Great job this week John! Your determination will yield the results you are looking for.

Weights been up and down this week, I have been strict too. This week was crazy @ work so maybe thats it :).

I ordered a polar F55 off ebay, so i'll be logging my calories burned from the gym hopefully!

Bored? Read this - > http://www.cspinet.org/nah/10foods_bad.html

Interested in a Chipotle Chicken Burrito (tortilla, rice, pinto beans, cheese, chicken, sour cream, and salsa)? Think of its 1,180 calories and 19 grams of saturated fat as three 6-inch Subway Steak and Cheese Subs.

Yea fitday is neat... I never write down everything I eat, but I can estimate pretty well based on past logging I did. Everything I eat is pretty basic, eggs, chicken, salad, low-carb - high-protein. Thanks - John

I would approach use of anything like ephedra with caution. You should consult with a doctor to make sure your liver is in good shape and find out what dosages are right for you.

Have you considered using a site like fitday.com to track your calories? I find it pretty useful.

Congratulations on progress!

11 LB for the week. Not to shabby.

I am sticking to low carb pretty strictly. Tonight i am staying away from wine, and going for some diet coke and vodka. Hey its the weekend! I gotta drink a little, stressful week :)

Wish me luck!

Anyone else every take ephedra? ECA stacks seem to be pretty popular.

P.S. Checkout my 1st post on this page, i have some neat image with stats.

Yea, i might need to take in some more calories. Like right now I am starving!

Breakfast was 4 eggs (beaters)

Lunch was a salad w/chicken salad

Dinner was a salad with a mama lupes low-carb (8 carbs) chicken wrap.

Lots of water and vitamins...

Looks like I have some water weight shedding off... a loss none the less :) I prob should try to count my calories as I really have no idea what my totals are for the day. I have been drinking a lot of water to help fill me up.

You right, that price isnt bad. There were a few places on froogle.com that had it a little cheaper but i didnt check the shipping prices yet. Thanks!

Traineo offers a good deal on their products page for a more basic model too. The part that fits around the chest is comfortable, I don't even notice it.

Good deal... I might look into one of those heart monitors, hopefully I can find one small enough where its not a annoying to wear. Does that Polar watch require a external cable to be wrapped around you?

** Edit - It looks like it does, but after reviewing the features that's one impressive watch!

Good for you! Don't you feel great about yourself already for choosing to be fit? I got a Polar F55. I use it during my cardio workouts right now to make sure that I am staying in my optimal zone. I learned how to calculate that rate in the forums.
